Environmental Resiliency Workshop
TIME: Sunday, February 17th, 1:00-3:00pm
RENEWABLE ENERGY FOR THE ROCKAWAYS
Our third community workshop on environmental resiliency, where we explored the latest options in solar thermal and photovoltaic technology as we rebuild our homes and community and prepare for future emergencies.
Battery back-up systems, financing and incentives will be discussed, along with an information from CEC about NYSERDA's EmPower program which provides low-income home-owners with insulation, boilers, windows and other items that were damaged by Sandy.
