Jamaica Bay Paddle

TIME: Saturday, August 31, 10AM-1pm
LOCATION: Marina 59- Beach Channel Drive @ Beach 59th St

Join RWA and Sadhana in a clean up and paddle along Jamaica Bay in honor of the Hindu holiday called "Krishna Janamashtmi" (birthday of Krishna) when Hindus gather across the world to celebrate Janamashtmi in their local temples or make offerings in their homes.
But for this event,  Sadhana and RWA have partnered together to involve local youth in cleaning the bay and bring them out for a paddle to bond with others and gain more of an appreciation of the natural environment.
Space is limited for this event. Adults and families with children ages 10 and up are welcome to participate in this paddle. Registration is based on first come first serve.
