Washed Ashore Art Exhibition

TIME: Sunday, March 10th, 3-6PM

LOCATION: Queens Museum of Art

We encourage families, students and the general public to join us for the opening of this exciting show at the Queens Museum of Art.

The large scale murals in this exhibit were created by local youth in the RWA Aqua 101 summer program using trash and recycled debris collected off the shores of the Rockaway Peninsula in partnership with local artists from the Rockaway Beach Surf Club to raise awareness of the problem of shoreline pollution and celebrate the people who are working together to make a difference.

The opening will also include live music and hands on activities for kids and families.

Rsvp is suggested.
