"Washed Ashore" Free Art Workshop at VW Dome 2

TIME: Wednesday, March 27, 2013  11:00 AM - 3:00 PM
LOCATION: MoMA PS1's VW Dome 2 at Beach 94th St. / Shorefront Parkway, Rockaway, NY

Back by popular demand, "Washed Ashore" is a free, public art workshop for all local kids and their families. Come join us on your spring break! Led by RWA educator, Keneisha Turner, kids will have the opportunity to create and take home collage murals using shoreline debris collected from the Rockaway waterfront and raise awareness of the issues we face with coastal pollution.

Large-scale murals that were created during last summer's "Washed Ashore" workshop, are now on display at the Queens Museum of Art until March 31, 2013.

No advance registration required, feel free to drop in during workshop hours. All materials provided.
