RWA is working with various community groups and local professionals to offer exercise classes at RISE for local residents. Our classes include the following:
- RISE and Exercise: Wednesdays at 1:30 PM. Led by instructors from the YMCA, this community class will run through basic stretches and exercises with a focus on promoting flexibility and strength training. Exercises are performed both seated and standing. All levels are welcome and all equipment will be provided. Each class will last for forty-five minutes. This class is FREE to the public.
- Yoga with Cindy: Tuesdays at 5:30 PM. Led by local resident Cindy Solorzano, this class will teach basic yoga postures that will enhance flexibility, strength and balance, while promoting relaxation. All levels are welcome, participants can either bring their own mats or use one of those provided by the instructor. Each class will last for an hour and fifteen minutes. This class is donation based, with a suggested donation of $10.
