Join us for community-wide initiative to grow the capacity of arts + culture on the eastern end of the Rockaway Peninsula.

We invite you to a community-wide initiative, Create Far Rock, to envision the future of the arts on the eastern end of the Rockaways. Join us at a town hall, participate in a focus group, and take the survey to help identify cultural assets and ways to grow the capacity of art and culture in our community. Your input over the next months is critical to ensure that the arts and culture have a solid foundation in a vibrant, equitable, and diverse Far Rockaway, especially in the face of recent city initiatives, particularly, the NYC Economic Development Corporation's Downtown Far Rockaway Neighborhood Development initiative and Resilient Edgemere Community Plan conducted by the Department of Housing Preservation and Development. Your input will help formulate investments in the local arts and cultural sector over the next two years.
